• As an engineer and a physicist, I understand both the challenges of building a device, and the complexities of operating it

• While working as a control systems engineer, I interacted with all elements of fusion experiments: from diagnostics to actuators, scenario design to instabilities

• Invited to the ITER panel on Integrated Operating Scenarios, considering interactions between all the subsystems of a fusion machine
